I recently purchased a 19" unthreaded SAIGA 12 that came with a bead front sight. I installed an XS Sights tritium front sight for a Remington with a bead sight and it turned out great. I used a file to mill the front sight bead and base down to a semi rounded profile and used J-B Weld to attach it. It aligns perfectly with rear sight notch and the big dot is easy to see both day and night. I'm not sure if this has been done before by anyone,so thought I would pass it to the forum.
