I used a Big Dot Tritium front sight from XS Sights. It is for a Remington 870,but works great on the Saiga. You must remove the bead sight and I used epoxy to attach the new one. I have fired at least 30 rounds and have had no problems.

I have a 19" barrel with the fixed bead front sight. I got a tritium big dot sight for a Remington 870 from XS Sights and epoxied it over the bead. It works great!

I am a long time viewer,but this is my first post. I recently purchased a 19" unthreaded SAIGA 12 that came with a bead front sight. I installed an XS Sights tritium front sight for a Remington with a bead sight and it turned out great. I used a file to mill the front sight bead and base down to a semi rounded profile and used J-B Weld to attach it. It aligns perfectly with rear sight notch and the big dot is easy to see both day and night. I'm not sure if this has been done before by anyone,so thought I would pass it to the forum.
