I have thought of a good setup that I like due to the fact that it does not reciprocate... but being that it does not do that, then it is not part of the mass of the bolt and bolt carrier in relation to the gas system. what I am getting at is if I want to shave the handle from the right side then it may threaten to throw the whole gas system slightly off balance. have any of you guys had a problem with the gas system after taking off the charging handle?
