zero2epiphany 4 Posted January 17, 2011 Report Share Posted January 17, 2011 Wow seem to be post happy right now. Ok, so Im in the process of trying to lighten up my project saiga. Just trying to dump a few ounces here and there. Ordered the always popular kvar handguard and retainer off of CSS. I know the lower handguard is around 4 1/2 ounces but just what does the factory weight? Damn being clean cut guy and not having a crack scale. Does anybody run just lower kvar handguard without the top bit? I know the utlimak rail has that lower bit that "closes" the handguard. Of coure I dont have one, I would except for that 1-4 power scope that somehow forced its way onto THIS rifle. So is no longer needed. In case you havent guessed I didnt pick up a new gas tube.
