Polish 7.62 30 rd. Mags

Recommended Posts

Are available at AIM for $10. These are seconds. I ordered 8. Only one had a visual defect where the plastic molding did not fully cover one of the two lips. I haven't had a chance to try them yet.

Northridge has them too but they want $20 each. I assume these are first quality.

i bought 2 of the polish mags

both fell apart from normal use.

they are shit.

i stocked up on the 20 round steel ones when tapco had em for $4.99 a piece brand new!

those are some of the best mags i've ever used.

one box=one mag.

no more loose rounds rolling around.

no more guessing how many rounds you've loaded.

less weight. less bulk.

sure they are 10 rounds less than 30 rounders but if you like you can install a tapco follower and increase them to 25 rounders.

they're the best! :super::super::super::super:

but i do like the look of the polish mags the best.

i once saw some pics of some smooth side metal mags. they looked just like the polish mags only metal.

wish i could find some of them.

TWGLADE,

Were those 20 rounders from Romania or Hungary? You can't beat $4.99. I also like the 20 rounders. Good capacity, good weight distribution, good ergonmics in handling and ground shooting.

I hope these Polies are better quality than those you had. Dodge is a big fan of the Polies so i assumed they were better than the Eastern Block steel stuff.

i believe they were hungarian tanker mags but not sure, they were the ones tapco had awhile back.

i paid $35 a piece for my polish mags.

the only thing that worries me is that aim states that they are "defects" b/c of the exposed metal around the feedlips.

they claim that function and durability are not affected by this defect but the ones that i bought had the same thing wrong with them.

after a couple hundred rounds i noticed some hairline cracks around the feedlips and the front of the mag where the latch is.

the cracks ended up chasing into the body of the mag resulting in failure.

i'll never gamble on them again.

it may have just been an isolated event, but it may happen again and i'm not willing to take the chance.

i don't believe that plastic will ever be "better" than steel. they both have their +'s and -'s but i believe that steel has more +'s than plastic does.

hope yours turn out ok buddy.
