Valhalla 4
Trying to find some 5.45 magazine stripper clip guides. Does anyone know who has them at a reasonable price? I found one place that is asking $10 each!!! Dang, at that price they should be gold plated.
presto_z 125
Numrich gun parts has them. They are $6.95 and come with 4 stripper clips last time I checked. Call them during business hours for a promo code for cheaper shipping

Dorky_D 8
Do you know if that works with .223?
presto_z 125
What kind of stripper clips do you plan on using? You can't put 223 into a 545 clip because the casing are a different diameter.. Standard GI 556/223 clips will not work with the 545 guide either.. so I'm gonna go with "no they won't work"
Dorky_D 8
OK, that is what I wanted. I do not have any stripper clips or 5.45 ammo, so I wanted to ask.
broberts001 0
You can put .223 / 5.56 on the 5.45x39 stripper clips. I went so far as to Dremel the spoon grooves into several of my Surefire mags for the .223 Saiga, loaed the stipper clips and feed many hundreds of rounds. It can be done if you have a steady hand for the Dremeling -Bryan
presto_z 125
Brob, good call.. I just tried 5.56 and it fit the 5.45 strippers. They're in there a little loose, but it seems to work.. I stand corrected
