atm papi 1
i'll be picking up my new Saiga 7.62 this Monday, and I can't wait to put my hands on it. will just adding the UTG quad rail on my Saiga make it non compliant? i don't really plan on adding the pistol grip. sorry for the noob question. mlandolt8 1
Yes, you can add the UTG rail without an 922r issue. What you CAN'T do is: add the rail and think you are now legit to run surplus (foreign) mags. As long as you are just changing the UTG rail and using factory mags OR American mags (SGM Tactical) designed to work with your Saiga you are good to go. Hope this helps. LTTP P.S. When in doubt get a 922r parts list, and make sure you don't exceed 10 foreign parts if you want "evil" features (high capacity mags, pistol grip, etc) You have 14 Russian parts coming out of the box.
