sleeper 0
Hey guys. I searched around but couldn't find anything. I have a Saiga .308. I bought a side mount (BP-02 from Kalinkaoptics) and a decent scope that came with rings. Now let me tell you, I'm a complete scope nub, but I love to learn things on my own. I mounted the scope to the rail, but the rings look strange when mounted. It looks like the ring isn't fully attached to the rail but when the scope is mounted it looks dead center and is very sturdy. Pictures provided. Thanks!

Mephis 82
As long as the flat portion of the bottom of the rings that contacts the rail is completely flush and solid, you should be good to go. Problems like you see are usually just a result of cheaper parts. If it locks down tight and holds zero, once again, good to go.
