drewbroo 1
So I just took out my 1919, I identified a few issues using low recoil slugs and 00. (Had FTE's abould every 3rd round) Bird shot didnt even cycle. That being said. I ordered the tromix bushing for my lower recoil loads. So then I tried some Winchester XX slugs..... Not a single issue. I loved the way the 1919 felt, and the weight is awesome. Till I get my bushing I am sticking with heavier loads. If anyone has any tips feel free. I did to a complete teardown before hand, lubed, and did about 50 function checks. Edited August 12, 2011 by drewbroo

zed kelvartis 0
I don't know if it would make a difference, but I hand cycled my gun 300 times before my first time shooting it... it cycled everything I had just fine... even birdshot and low recoil 00 buck. I see you did it 50 times. I wonder if the extra 250 times is what helped mine? I am not running the Tromix bushing, but I also was not rapid firing.

It was still hanging up on the reduced recoil loads. I like the hi power stuff anyways, so its fine for me.
