schultze13 354
Before someone get any ideas and wants the topic locked I am in no way trying to make my S-20 full auto. With that said I got lucky two weeks ago and got a great deal on a spare S-20 bolt carrier for $34.00 it came to the house I looked it over and put it away well today I decided to try it out in my S-20 to make sure there is nothing wrong with it, well it works fine. I was cleaning it up to put it back away and it was laying besides the factory BC and that is when I noticed it had not been milled to S/A specs and the F/A trip was still there and it didn't have a serial number on it. I assumed the BC was from a demilled gun sold as a parts kit but now I am not sure. S-20 BC are rare let alone with a F/A trip and no numbers. Does and one else have a S-20 that came with a BC like this or did I stumble on to one that got brought back from oversea's as a spare part?? Either way I am happy. schultze13 354
Also where the gas piston screws in to the carrier had alot more threads showing on the F/A BC compared the the one that came in my gun.
csspecs 1,987
I'm fairly sure my brothers S-20 has that nub. On his it is what catches the bolt hold open.
schultze13 354
On the one that has been machined the BHO catches on the nub on the F/A one the BHO catches on front off the area where the extra material is. I like it it hold the bolt further back.
