sjglaw 1
Can anyone explain exactly how to modify the end of the standard K-Var non wood, poly, lower AK-47 handguard-- the end that inserts into the receiver so it fits the Saiga 410. The tab on that end does not want to go into the receiver. Edited November 1, 2011 by sjglaw
jimdigriz 580
Can anyone explain exactly how to modify the end of the standard K-Var non wood, poly, lower AK-47 handguard-- the end that inserts into the receiver so it fits the Saiga 410. The tab on that end does not want to go into the receiver. If you hold it up to the opening, it should be obvious how the ledge that sticks out from the handguard needs to be trimmed. (I don't have an S410, but had the same issue on my S308).
sjglaw 1
The ledge is on the stock handgard, no ledge on the k-var
jimdigriz 580
The ledge is on the stock handgard, no ledge on the k-var That's funny; every K-Var handguard I've ever had has a ledge. It's much shorter than the Saiga one, but it is there.
