Venia 249
I picked up my .223 tonight shipped from Classic Arms. It is not a legion, it has dimples & a flat trunnion. My question is about the barrel possibly being threaded since the gap between the barrel and the sleeve appear wider on the .223 than my 7.62x39. Does this mean its threaded? Or does it not matter? 1. 7.62x39 2. .
Alexc.s. 25
No .223 has ever been found to be threaded. It looks like a regular un-threaded barrel to me. If you find otherwise please post it.

If you find otherwise please post it. agreed. i believe the short lived occurrence of the threaded barrels on the 7.62x39 was only due to the pre-obama gun craze that led to mass depletion of stock at the izhmash factory, which led to them using old stock AKM barrels until they caught up with demand.
