SaigaK 0
Ive heard that USAS 10 round magazines can be converted to be used in a Saiga 12.....but what about the drums? I know the drums are amazingly expensive....but can it be done?
KySoldier 2
The drums have no feed tower (like an AK drum) so the receiver would require extensive cutting and modification. But sure, it is technically possible. Never seen it done. Edit: A Knox drum would be easier. Edited August 15, 2005 by KySoldier
SaigaK 0
Edit: A Knox drum would be easier. Ya..I was thinking about that too. How close is the feed-tower to a Saiga 12 magazine?
Tiny 2
Now if we can just get someone to make a Saiga 12 feed-tower for the Knox NLFD.
KySoldier 2
SaigaK: I know you haven't been around here long. Do a search, I'm sure you'll find examples of people who have mated the two.

However the method, it would have to hold the very heavy mag in place and feed reliably. Last time I saw a USAS 12 drum mag for sale it was near the $350+ area. Thats enough to make me think twice before I fire up the Dremel tool. RonSwin
