montec 164
Ok, I know this has been covered lots but I just have to ask. I'm gonna be in the market here soon for a quad rail. I like the idea the UTG has that you can still use open sights. Is that the only one that you can buy that you can still use the factory open sights? I'm actually going to be putting new mounts on my guns. My 30-30, and model 60 too but I know this isn't the place to ask about them. I seen the UTG was on amazon for $80 and free shipping. I like the Chaos rail too.
VladTepes 160
what are you putting on the rail?
montec 164
what are you putting on the rail? Not sure yet really. probably a red dot or reflex sight, maybe a flashlight.
VladTepes 160
what are you putting on the rail? Not sure yet really. probably a red dot or reflex sight, maybe a flashlight. the setup you are considering is overkill IMO... I wanted a rail.. but when I considered the practical use of the weapon.. I realized I was making it heavier than need be.. you could go.. ultimak rail with red dot and off set flashlight or arsenal rail with kvar handguard and a red dot on a side mount.. both IMO satisfy what you are trying to accomplish while keeping the weapon as light and as streamlined as possible.. not a direct answer to your question.. but another option to consider.. Grimkill 1
I got a SGM and put a Burris Fast Fire II on it and do not like the setup at all. Next plan is to get a Titan Rail and try the Burris on it with MBUS backups. Got it Here: http://store.carolinashooterssupply.com/servlet/-strse-429/SGM-SAIGA-12-QUAD/Detail
