mslick1 2
I live in california. If i were to convert my saiga stock and add a pistol grip I would have to install a mag lock. Sucks but thats what I would need to do to be compliant to California's regulations. Will a dragunov stock be considered a pistol grip? Curious and would like to find out. YOT 3,743
California law defines “assault weapons” in two ways: • firearms listed on the original Roberti Roos assault weapons law or in the California Code of Regulations. • by the specific generic characteristics. A further explanation of firearms considered “assault weapons” can be found on the Department of Justice website. That's from......http://www.nraila.or...awpdfs/CASL.pdf Here's some more...http://oag.ca.gov/si...rms/awguide.pdf (see page 72) and http://oag.ca.gov/si...uls/kaslist.pdf If you learn all that you'll know for sure. Sorry, I'm not going to CA anytime soon. Edited January 26, 2012 by Yeoldetool
