XD45 7,124
I just heard Browning is introducing a new A5. I checked out the video here: http://www.browning....tail.asp?id=372 The video is a little hokey but the classic lines of the A5 take me back to my teen years in the hills and valleys of the Ozark Mountains. A lot of the old hunters had Auto 5s. I always wanted one. A few years later when I got out of the Corps I found a Browning B80sl in a local pawn shop for a song. It wasn't an Auto 5 but it was a Browning and it had a little hump in the back. I still have that shotgun and it's been absolutely flawless all these years. I'll never sell it. But this new Browning has me thinking I may get it a younger brother. I'd get the look of the Auto 5 that I always wanted with 21st century technology. XD45 7,124
that would make a nice sbs whippet gun That would take some redesign. The recoil spring is in the stock.
David Mark 2,452
May issue of American Rifleman has a feature article on it. Hell, they even have it on the cover. Looks like a damn nice shoty.
sunnybean 939
I wish they would have rounded the base of the grip.

The recoil spring is in the stock. the a5 is the original whippet gun, the stock is cut just after the recoil spring so it can still be fired from the shoulder
