nlacy 692 Posted May 26, 2012 Report Share Posted May 26, 2012 I've got an ar adapter for my .223 and it seems to like the steel mags more than the pmags. The steel mags are a little thinner so they slide in better and the angle of the follower for the pmags is steeper so when the bolt hits it, there is more force on it which is why I think mine cracked. avatar 4 Posted May 27, 2012 Report Share Posted May 27, 2012 Same thing happened to one of mine. Still works even cracked. I used a dremel and rounded off all the pmag followers so the bolt would ride over them. Plastic as a lrbho is a bed idea. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
