Spacehog 2,218
Greg, It looks like from your website I have a couple of options for threading the saiga .223 barrel: 14X1 LH AK thread, or the 28X1/2 std AR thread. IS there any advantage of one over the other, as far as the actual threading goes? (i.e. less pressure or metal removal needed, etc.) I haven't had to do this before as my '09 7.62 came with factory threads. This will be for a saiga .223 that I am planning to bullpup. Any guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated as I need to place an order for several items and wanted to get them all on the same order. Thanks
gpqueen 545
The 223 may need the barrel tunred down before you can thread it for 1/2x28. You will not need to do this for the 14x1.
Spacehog 2,218
Thank you for your reply. I was hoping for the 1/2x28 because of greater options for muzzle devices, but as I have no way of turning down the barrel, it looks like it'll be the 14x1. Thanks again.
