Threading options for the Saiga .223.

Recommended Posts

Greg,

It looks like from your website I have a couple of options for threading the saiga .223 barrel: 14X1 LH AK thread, or the 28X1/2 std AR thread. IS there any advantage of one over the other, as far as the actual threading goes? (i.e. less pressure or metal removal needed, etc.)

I haven't had to do this before as my '09 7.62 came with factory threads. This will be for a saiga .223 that I am planning to bullpup. Any guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated as I need to place an order for several items and wanted to get them all on the same order. Thanks
