THE AK KID 0 Posted August 6, 2012 Report Share Posted August 6, 2012 I picked up a rifle that takes ak mags and when I tried to use my 10 round modified oem saiga mag it will not fit. Why? I use the same Pre bans in both my x39 and my new rifle. How could it be that a magazine that fits one won't fit the other? I am baffled! Any ideas as to why it doesn't fit it really makes no sense to me. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Shandlanos 1,470 Posted August 6, 2012 Report Share Posted August 6, 2012 Plastic mags sometimes have to be adjusted to fit a particular rifle. Look at the locking tabs, figure out what isn't fitting, and file away to adjust if you want it to fit your new rifle. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
