Squishy 1,149 Posted September 26, 2012 Report Share Posted September 26, 2012 I want to get an IR thermometer to measure the temp of the lead in my melter and I think it's a good thing to have around as you don't have to touch whatever you're trying to measure, just point and shoot. This is another item with a wide range with regard to prices. I've seen them for $25 to over one thousand dollars. Some have a lot of exta features like a PC interface, alarms etc. What's a good one that doesn't cost and arm and a leg? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
