usehername 0
I have purchased many boxes of Remington Express Long Range 3" shells. Never a problem until recently. Failed to feed almost every time recently caused me to think there was something wrong with the gun. Finally I happen to have an older round of the same ammo (Same exact box from the same retailer) The four new boxes contained shells 1/8 inch shorter than the older ammo. These 3 inch shells are 2-5/8 unfired. They hang up on the barrel hood. Now are we supposed to shop for three inch shells with a tape measure?
filospinato 0
Have this same problem with Rio ammo, they measure a consistent 2.605" +/-.005", too short to feed properly. The Federal I just got is right on 2.75", don't know if it'll feed properly yet though.
liberty -r- death 1,445
I have not run into this yet. Good to know about it so I can take a ruler with me to buy 410 ammo.
