Garys4598 1,065
I've owned and cherished the below USFA 12/22 SAA Revolver (.22LR with a cylinder that holds 12 rounds) for two years, so when recently an opportunity presented itself to purchase a 'like new' USFA "Double Eagle" SAA revolver in .44 Special, I jumped all over it. Figured the 12/22 would appreciate having a big brother around. USFA 12/22 SAA Revolver: I took the Double Eagle out to the pistol range this morning and put 15 rounds through her. . . and WOW, I gotta say that shooting .44 Special was a huge surprise and pleasure! I really like the bird's head grip on the Double Eagle, moreso than the standard Colt SAA grip on the 12/22. The bird's head grip swells toward the heal/bottom of the grip and it is significantly more comfortable in the hand.
