Gmountain 0
My 410 won't go into battery. When I rack the bolt, it the slide stops about 1/3" from completely going into battery. I can push it forward. If I pull the trigger, the hammer pushes it into battery. Without the piston, installed, the bolt hangs up slightly on the hammer, but slides right into battery. I'm thinking it might possible be a dirty gas tube, causing the piston to slightly hang up. Anyone ever seen this before?
poolingmyignorance 2,191
Are you ridding it, or just pulling it back and letting it slam home? Also, if your using a retainig plate, be sure it's not hangin up the bolt carrier. Try cleaning the puck, (doubt thats the problem) but it's a simple task worth investigating. Gmountain 0
I'm going to clean the puck and gas tube. I'm certainly not riding anything, although I can see why you would ask, since you don't know me. Trust me though, I'm familiar with guns.
Kurokaze 10
I occasionally have the same issue. Mine, I believe, is due to the shell extractor sticking as it goes forward. I've been dealing with other issues and haven't fully disassembled the bolt to clean it.
