I just purchased a Saiga-.410 with drum, which is why I joined this forum, but I have a question about my SLR 106UR AK Pistol. I'm looking for an upper and lower hand grip set that has rails on it for mounting my flashlight/ lase/ forward hand grip and etcetera. Does anyone have a link or suggestion as to where to find this? self_inflicted 70 Posted January 27, 2013 Report Share Posted January 27, 2013 (edited) I have a SLR 106UR and I use the Zahal brand AKS 74U "Krinkov" rail system for mine (can't post the link, but google should do the trick), its a bit pricey but it's a very solid hand guard. Your forward grip needs to be an angled grip, not a vertical grip, which would make the pistol an "any other weapon" and therefore illegal. Here is my plan: - New forward grips with rails - Scope - Bi-Pod for more accurate shooting - Laser/ Flashlight combo w/ pressure switches I guess I need to deep six my folding forward grip to keep it legal? I'm new at shooting for sport. My experience in weapons has been 10 years in military... not regulated by politics, LOL. mancat 2,368 Posted January 27, 2013 Report Share Posted January 27, 2013 You can have a front grip, but it cannot be any sort of vertical grip - a folding grip falls into that category. Magpul AFG or similar is really your only option at this time. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
