dfekete 0
I though I would ask some of the best sources on the web about my conversion Im in the buying stage to get everything I need. I bought the ATI scorpion grip and folding collapsable stock from ATI also Now on to the trigger group, I bought a G2 set from ak-builder. It doesnt appear to come with a disconector spring, can I Use the stock one or should I just spend the $3.50 for a spring? Also can anyone reccomend a good hand guard Also a bullet guide? I am deathly affraid of tapping the whole (due to all the horror stories I've read)
dubya 198
Go to carolina shooters supply. You'll find everything you need there. Don't be afraid of installing a bullet guide, that's the easiest part of the conversion. Unless you're extremely clumsy and have never used a drill, which i doubt. dfekete 0
Glad it was all in stock, can't go wrong with $6 flat rate shipping Thanks again
semper299 284
Like dubya said, don't fear the bullet guide. It's not as bad as it seems. I would recommend getting a quality tap and tap handle. Just about any hardware store has them. The handguard is really up to your personal preference. All depends on what you want and that will dictate where you go to get it. Edited January 29, 2013 by Semper299
Spetnaz Soldier 47
Definatly go with the bullet guide. I was scared to do it and invested in the sgm saiga mags but finally ended up doing the bullet guide. It is very easy and the tap and drill bit that come with the bullet guide kit are good enough quality to do the conversion. you will not regret it
