Spetnaz Soldier 47
Hey guys so i recently noticed my tapco g2 hammer is out of spec and hitting my bolt at an angle instead of flat and that is causing the part where it contacts to mushroom and smash a little bit. can i use my stock saiga hammer until i reprofile the g2 or buy a good hammer and trigger group. Spetnaz Soldier 47
ok well i started to re profile the tapco g2 hammer. if i can get it to sit evenly on the end of the bolt i should be ok right?
Spetnaz Soldier 47
Ok so i reprofiled my hammer and it now hits the firing pin flush and sits on the hammer flush. Will this affect performance in any way. And should I invest in a better fire control group. Im wondering if the hammer's steel is too hard or something because of the contact marks on the end of the bolt. Probobly just from contacting with all that force in one spot instead spread evenly on the end of the bolt. The reason i am concerned about this is because i dont want the bolt to wear out just because the fuckin hammer wasnt profiled correctly by the tapco guys.
