CrawfishStu 0
I took apart my 1919 for it's first good cleaning after about 200 rounds. The first things I noticed were some marks on the bolt. These almost look intentionally made. Like staking. Then when I cleaned the receiver I could see where something was scraping/hitting the receiver. Thoughts?
CrawfishStu 0
This builds up a crazy amount of carbon.
toothandnail 275
Your pictures above are common for this shotgun. All will have a little scraping on the upper receiver. All will have some abuse at the rear of the receiver. I have not seen that specific method of staking used but that was the intention of whoever did it that way.
