kdbutler 563 Posted October 23, 2011 Report Hits close to home. My 12 year old son sustained a distal tib/fib fracture on 9/14 when he was hit by a car. He's been casted for about 4 weeks, and getting him to comply with his weight bearing restrictions has been a challenge. i showed him your pics, because the ortho warned him that he could develop a blister from walking on the cast.
