I grinded the areas in red using a dremel, now the saftey selecter slides past the BHO lever effortlessly and functions perfectly.

Slick work!! I just notch the safety lever and weld a tab on it to use as a bolt hold open, and for ease of safety release . This is slick when you want to use your bolt hold open, though! Good work!!
