I opted to leave one lug forward of the gas block, due to where I wanted the laser to sit. Which ever way you locate a flush fit, you will not get a complete number of lugs and spaces. I compromised for application over looks, but I can always make another from the scraps. Pic rail costs about $10 per foot, and I have enough spare to make several more.
