sccritterkiller 473 Posted September 9, 2013 Report Nice! Go perforate some critters! Nothing like letting their air out! Quote Link to comment
storm6490 2,768 Posted September 10, 2013 Report Man, the new bows are bat shit crazy. You will only need one pin for up to 50 yards! Nuts! Quote Link to comment
ShadowFire 220 Posted September 10, 2013 Report Yeah I'm completely new to compound bows. Only thing I had ever shot previously was a bow in church camp and boy scouts. After a practice with it I'm going to put some expanding broadheads on it and make holes in some critters for dinner. It's fun to shoot it, got to test it out at bass pro before I bought it. sccritterkiller 473 Posted September 12, 2013 Report You need to practice with whatever you will hunt with. If not you will have to retune when you change over. At the very least make sure your practice tips and hunting tips weight the same. I use Rage two blades.they make practice tips that are identical to the hunting one they just dont expand also make sure you have a good rest. I prefer a drop way. You want something that is not going to touch the fletches when they pass the rest. It will also make it easier when you start building you own arrows down the road...because you will. Been bow hunting for years nothing like doing your killing up close.Make sure your anchor point is the same place everytime you draw. PM me with any questions. Welcome to the brotherhood!
