  1. I got it via the internet here in NZ.It has had the trigger moved forward and the Drag style stock fitted. And something was done to allow it to take genuine AK mags. The huge silver screw head attaching the stock is ugly and not even flush with the body, cross threaded maybe ? Aside from that and the spring being fitted wrong its fine. I wont send it back and will tidy it up myself with some more knowledge. Just wish I was allowed the 30 round mag here.
  2. Thanks now i see what you mean.I didnt really expect a new rifle to be assembled wrong. I was unsure how it was meant to look.
  3. Thanks nalioth, unsure if we are focussing on the same spring. Here is another view, its the solid wire spring around the trigger shaft. Its just looks odd how it ends and looks broken.?
  4. My brand new Saiga lasted all of about 15 rounds before the trigger stopped returning. ! It will still fire but i have to manually push the trigger forward to fire the next round. I have taken a pic of a spring that looks broken ? the spring ends at the tip of the red arrow. Is this correct ? Or could it be something else.
  5. Let me guess, they messed up the gas tube/piston to make it bolt-action? lol no its still semi auto With a basic Category "A" license here in NZ-no stand alone rear pistol grip, mag is limited to 7 rounds(and must not look like it holds more so no banana mag !), no flash suppressor(but a silencer is ok-get that!),no bayonet or attaching lugs,no folding or telescopic butt. So I am limited to what I can own at the moment untill I can apply for an "E" license in 6 months or so time. Then the above restrictions are removed. Although with the right licence you can own a full automati
  6. Love the rifles you guys are posting. I live in NZ and this just arrived brand new.$1050.00nz Thats what brings me here
  7. Hi everyone I am a newb here,1st post. Just admiring the prices you guys pay for the Saiga rifles there. I live in New Zealand and just bought my first real rifle a Saiga AK style, modified to suit the type of license i hold. I paid nz$1050.00,brand new in the box, made 1 year ago-according to the 2 booklets included, and that included a mod to take any AK magazine. Will post a pic up in the photo thread.
