Been reading a lot of posts.
I just picked up a Saiga 7.62x39 at a local dealer.
Only thing I am adding to it at this point is a scope.
My question is:
A: is it illegal for me to use any magazine other than the one it came with? Can I use my other AK mags?
B: If I need to change a part to keep the correct number of imported parts below ten, How do I know what was manufactured where originally? Or should I assume Saiga made it all in Russia?
I want to be sure that I can install a US made Gas Piston to stay legal so I can use other magazines with my otherwise unmodified S
