Here are two lists, 1 is a written of what is and what is not compliant the second is a spreadsheet that you can use to determine if the weapon is compliant.

Is there a Parts Count list and tabulator for SKS riflles like there is for Saigas? I have a new friend that has a SKS rifle and is interested in uing 30rd mags. I told him he'd need to convert it first. I'd like to show him a list of things to change in a simple form / check list.
I found some pretty good info on Google searches showing the Parts Count is 16 as imported and what some parts are that need to be changed.
I was just wondering if a "tabulator type file" is available like we have on this forum.
I started to put this in "Other AK Rifles" but figured this was a better place regarding compliance questions.

If you Google "After Action Report 3rd Army" you will find plenty of listings. Search with and without the quotation marks.
Yes for CD's & DVD's, not the same.... I found a listing similar to the lady's and you have to join to get the price...

Yes I would like to invest, I have been looking around and can not find any info on the AAR "3rd Army", I find other branches, and they are not the same size all are smaller compared to what this lady says.
I'll have to look for autographed photos of GSP.
Thx

the rifle is indeed a type 56...so $400 would be a fair price there abouts?
Yep, type 56 are more desirable by collectors, I would say about $400-450. It does depend on the market as mentioned.... I do not collect, so when I buy a weapon I buy it to shoot...... Nice rifle.....

Need pics of the left side of the receiver all of the markings......

I wanted a couple of 10 round mags and an additional 20 round AR-15 mags, these guys had the PMAG's at an excellent price with the 3rd gen anti-tilt followers @ $11.35 each, shipping price was very decent as well.....
I just wanted to give a heads up to you guys in case you are looking for a good deal....

I'm looking for a bipod from my s308. I'm just looking for a cheap one that will hold my rifle steady, preferably one that I can take on and off and doesn't need a rail. I'm not sure what it's called though.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
The only one that comes to mind is the Harris Bi-pod..... You attach it to the swivel stud.....

Why strange? Apparently from what I've read, the thread diameters differ from MilSpec (1.185") to Commercial (1.170"). See this link for details:
http://www.ar15fornoobs.com/mil-spec-vs-commercial-spec-buffer-tubes
Also, see this illustration:
I have this UTG Leapers MilSpec AR tube I bought from Carolina SS :
http://store.carolinashooterssupply.com/servlet/-strse-653/CAR-UTG-TLU001-MILSPEC/Detail
It don't fit... Some folks say that their AR lowers fit both tube sizes but this combo aint gonna work..
I was once again misinformed, thanks for the clarification......
.........

2. The SGM Tactical rear trunnion mount will not fit a mil spec buffer tube (1.148 O.D. (Overall Diameter)), only commercial spec (1.168 O.D.). I overlooked that but it's no big deal. Plus it didn't specify on the website I bought it from.
That is very strange, because both the Mil spec & commercial tubes have the same size thread diameters.... If I where to take my AR and replace my mil spec tube with a commercial tube it would fit..... Did you purchase a AR tube? Thanks

Here is a revised Photoshop mock up of the concept
Why did you have to get permission to do this? It is a pistol and you are turning it into a pistol. No authorization needed, unless you just wanted a clarification about the law, then I could understand... Please post when she is finished, and what would really be cool is you take photos along the way for a "How To"....

I would say what it gives you is the rapid re-acquisition of your target..............

I am with Mak $355 shipped + FFL so $380 total.......

So even though it's going to be in a Priority Mail marked box, can I ship it Parcel Post? I'm assuming "yes", seeing as how I could just cover the whole package in brown packing paper and no one would know it was Priority box.
Stupid question, I know. Just curious.
No you can not, even if you turned it inside out it is still marked as priority, you would have to wrap it..... When you say upper are you talking about this? http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=62663&st=0&p=599478&fromsearch=1entry599478 If so there is no priority box that this will fit in... USPS has a cylindrical tube that you can ship it in for $3.69....

It depends, is it converted or stock? What State are you in?

I don't think I am going to the next one here in my town in South Dakota.
Over the last 3 years I've been here they've gone from having everything reasonably priced & even bulk surplus ammo.
Now no bulk at all,...nowhere,...and the guys at the tables sell accessories easily identifiable as purchased from online vendors
with a 40% markup.
The guns prices were just as extravagant unless you were looking for something collectible most guns seemed $300 more than what they were worth.
IMHO find another mark/pansy I'm done with you
This is why I stopped going to gunshows.... The prices on everything are ridiculous............

Read:
Keep in mind, he had the issue I was referring to but ground his third lug all the way off and had to make a repair. DO NOT do that.
Gee thanks Stan... LOL.... Yeah DO NOT DO WHAT THIS ASS DID..... Here is a better pic of what the 3rd lug is supposed to look like....

What was wrong with the AR? I have a Stag lower and got a RRA 5.56 20" Wylde barrel in a 1X8 and could not be happier...

I have the Colt Officers compact that I carry, the Colt's are single action weapons and unless the hammer is cocked fully it is useless, I have mine chambered and the safety on while I carry.... BTW, I would purchase a match grade sear & disconnector for her, I have the Ed Brown match grade Sear & Wilson Combat match Disconnector along with a Wilson sear spring.... She went from a 7-8 lb pull to a 4 lb pull....
Below is a 1911 gunsmith manual that is extremely useful:
YOU HAVE TO WAIT 60 SECONDS FOR THE DOWNLOAD LINK TO APPEAR

Thanks for all the comments guys Glad you like it....Just a windows paint, paint job, so it will probably be a little bit darker BLOOD red . I shall soon make it a reality. As for the hinge dust cover rail, I wish I had an S12 with a leaf sight so I could knock it out and add a hinged rail. As for the magwell, i have been constantly debating about gettin myself one but I think I may wait till Mike comes out with a magwell drum
@ 308saiga..lol thanks for the color change ya girly man
@ Chowder, JMHO but I think it the sickle and hammer were wrapped around the stock, it just wouldnt look right AT ALL. I will be putting one on each side (probably a little bigger)
Hehehehehe.. But seriously that thing has to get a lot darker before I vote on it. Have you ever seen blood in a fresh wound? It almost looks like a brownish red color, that would be cool...... Alright so I cut myself so that you can have a better idea.....

The wife want to know when can she send her 20ga she likes the pink even thou it was a joke that what she wants
It was a joke, although he may get some business from it..... It is just a little too bright for my taste, now if he would make it more of a reddish maroon color it would be better.....
Is my 7.62 Compliant?

If it was a Saiga rifle converted, the pistol grip does NOT count as a compliant part. Saiga's never had a PG when imported.
