Interest in other saiga models?
St Michael replied to TopGlock1's topic in Saiga Weapons - General Discussion
I just seen the ballastics on the 9,3x53 round; 9,3x53 rimless 2,000fps/1785ft.lbs. 200gr bullet 9,3x53 rimmed 2054fps/1960ft.lbs. 200gr bullet Its within the old 35 remington ballastics. Iwas eyeing the 9,3x62 and 9,3x64 for large game hunting depending on the cost of course. I wanted something between my 338win.mag. something more powerful and something a little less powerful and i think the 9,3x62 and 9,3x64 does that. I want to take my 2 sons bear hunting too with bigger calibers. Doesn't the RAAC website list this as a 9.3 x 64 ? The only 9.3 x 64 I've found onl -
Looks good, BRG3! How does it attach to the receiver? Does it still require mods to the G3 mag itself?

Until I get my pics posted, it may help to note that it is a factory Saiga .308 with the 16" barrel, and the original synthetic stocks, with one mag. I picked up a set of BattleRifleG3's wooden quasi-P-grip stocks for it; his examples are shown here: http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?act=At...pe=post&id=4354 (It is close in appearance to the third one from the left) and here: http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?act=At...pe=post&id=4252 The foregrip looks like this one: http://forum.saiga-12.com/uploads/post-6-1...51263_thumb.jpg They are still natural wood, as I ha

Price drop! Saiga .308 with BRG3's stocks, & original synthetic stocks, stock magazine (no ammo) $360 shipped. Saiga .308 with synthetic stocks only (no ammo, no BRG3's stocks) $320 shipped. Surely someone is looking for an incredible deal on a Saiga .308 in great condition? (If someone is looking to trade an AR 180B, I'll work out a deal, my Saiga .308 plus some cash.)

FS: Beretta Mini Cougar 8040/8357 D w/ 1mini mag, 3 LE mags Beretta Mini Cougar 8040 D with extra 8357 Sig factory barrel (purchased directly from BerettaUSA several months ago, $206, their last one in stock at that time.) The Mini 8040 D is the factory DAO model. It was previously the duty pistol of a PA State Trooper detective. It has normal holster wear marks but is otherwise in good consition. It has an exceptionally smooth DAO trigger. Included is one factory Mini Cougar 8040 magazine and 3 full size LE ("high cap") Cougar 8040 mags with spacers. This Mini 8040 functio

SOLD Pending Funds. This is a Saiga .308, 16" barrel, with one factory 8 round magazine. It has had approx. 200 rounds fired through it with no malfunctions whatsoever. It has both the factory synthetic stock as well as BattleRifleG3's excellent quasi-p grip wood stock and forearm. If purchased face to face (West central PA), I will include one ammo can of 432 rounds of USGI 7.62 x 51mm NATO M80 Ball, in M1 Garand 8 round clips in bandoliers in original ammo can, as well as 300 rounds of South African 7.62 x 51mm NATO M80 Ball, and 100 rounds of Australian 7.62 x 51mm NATO M80 Ball

Yes, any progress? (I just sent you a PM too...if this S308 mag is still a possibility, ignore my PM)

If you come out with a functional reliable high cap mag for the Saiga 308, it will sell, period. Even if a 20 rounder costs $80 and a 30 rounder costs $100. Many of us don't have the time or equipment to do conversions of any kind. Frankly, I like the stock configuration. The only other thing I want for this gun is a high cap mag or two. I payed $260 for the gun, new, out the door. If I spend another $200 for functional reliable high cap mags, I'm still ahead of the game compared to any other option available in a semi-auto 308. If you build it they will come. Bank on it. If no

Yes, I would pay $70-80 a piece for 2 twenty round mags. Send me a private message if you need personal information.
