I just got an email from Marko. Similar to the others here. I'd been trying to place an order. He said they got shipped the wrong mags, computer problems, yaddah yaddah...But he said he'd reserve mine and let me know when they're ready to ship. I've got my fingers crossed. Gummerfan (this whole mag situation is causing terrible mood swings!!)

Actually, I'd be perfectly happy with just a few 5-rounders. But if Finnsaiga ever comes online, his prices for the 8-rounders make them a better deal. My #1 shotty is a Remington 1100 "Tower Gun"-10 round tube, 28" modified barrel, shoots like a dream, but a bit on the long side. I've also got a Mossberg 500 side-folder.

The CS, CN, OC, and Smoke rounds are not AP.(though you would have some 'splaining to do if you used them in an AP capacity) You are correct about Bean-bag, rubber buck, baton, and other similar rounds, though. Gummerfan

Oh, it's not going anywhere, at least for a while. There's always the off chance that someone will come through. And you're right, I've got other guns to keep me busy! And if it ever becomes possible to get a stock of magazines for less than the price of a used car, nobody will be happier than I will! Gummerfan

Okay fine. I really love my Saiga-12. It could have been such a great gun. But I might as well face the fact that unless something major happens with the magazine situation, it's time to move on. If Stoneycreek comes through, fine and great. At least they're trying. But until they or somebody comes up with magazines, the Saiga will remain "The Best Combat Shotgun That Might Have Been." Well, the seller's auctions are back up. Maybe he changed the wording to something more PC. Of course some idiot will probably bid 'em up to a ridiculous level. It's funny how such a nice weapon is doomed just because of the mag supply. But lucky for me, I have managed to find a source for cheap 37mm munitions, so at least that hobby isn't dead yet! Eh. I was just kinda hoping that maybe the purveyors of over-priced mags would get booted off. Maybe get the market back to a realistic level.

(and no, I didn't bid too high and wouldn't care if I got "beat") Anyway, I got an email informing me that the auction had been pulled because of a violation of some rule. No price listed for 12 Ga mags??? The "package deal" prices aren't bad on the other mags, though. BTW, those of you that have the Russian pistol grip- How do you like them as far as handling/shooting?? I've thought about getting one. I've got a regular stock coming that I plan on sawing down a la' the Remington "witness protection" shotguns. ($12.00 for the standard stock vs $40.00+ for the PG ) Gummerfan
