  1. Posted "I'll take it" on item for sale and never pm'ed or responded to communication from my end. After 5 days, I re-listed and sold to another individual. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/87661-wts-2-csspecs-saiga-308-mags-nice/ Personally, I'd rather someone let me know and back out of a deal, rather than just disappear. Life happens, maybe something came up for him?
  2. Good communication. Smooth transaction. Thanks!
  3. Saiga 308 - Smooth transaction. Nice guy.
  4. For sale are (2) 20 Round Csspecs metal mags for the Saiga .308. I recently sold my rifle and forgot I still had these. They are not new, but in excellent condition and have only been in and out of the rifle a few time to test functionality. Less than 30 rounds fired between the two of them. You can see in the pic that there are a few light marks on the top of the mags from their limited use. Mag body, follower and floor plate are each marked "Made in USA" Back up for sale - I haven't heard anything from original buyer. SPF to Maxaks $90 Shipped - CONUS with USPS Money Order Discreet Pa
  5. Nice, one-owner, low-round count, converted Saiga 308 rifle with extras. Sold to KRob - Thx $995 Firm - FTF in DFW metro area. Bill of sale required. It's priced to sell, so please no tire-kickers. Post with "I'll take it" in this thread and follow up with PM. This rifles is posted for sale elsewhere as well. First come, first served. May consider shipping with additional costs if it doesn't sell locally. I had this rifle put together as a reliable hog hunting/brush gun. The 16” chrome lined barrel is very handy in the woods and I've been pleased with the accuracy. I have shot
  6. The Appleseed Project has definitely hit the main stream! We are very excited to announce that the New York Times has published an in-depth, six page feature on our all-volunteer Marksmanship and Heritage program. Please read the NYT piece here: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/08/01/magazine/01Appleseed-t.html?pagewanted=1&_r=1&hp Unfortunately, there are several mis-characterizations in that article that The Appleseed Project wishes to address. It appears as if we were unfairly portrayed by a Mainstream Media outlet using subtle innuendo, outright falsehoods, and everything in
  7. Nice shooting Toshbar! (Nice Patch too )
  8. Dryfire, Dryfire, Dryfire. It's cheap (no ammo required) and you can do it on your living room floor. First make sure your rifle is unloaded. Find a really small thing to aim at. Bottom plug on an electrical outlet works well. You can practice your position, sighting, respiratory pause, trigger squeeze, follow through (hold trigger back, take mental snapshot of where your front sight post was on the target when you heard the click) You'll build muscle memory and it'll help get you past bucking, heeling, and/or flinching when you're firing for real. (...leave the ammo in the other ro
  9. Well, I finally got a chance to try it out a few weeks ago and I love this thing. The .308 recoil wasn't that bad to begin with, but now it's less than my x39. Comes right back on target really nice.
