  1. Mr. Felkner should really get his hands on a copy of "Rules for Radicals". If you really care about your cause, the last thing you should do is bitch and complain endlessly in public. That is not the greatest way to change people's minds, or the way things work. "As an organizer I start from where the world is, as it as, not as I would like it to be. That we accept the world as it is does not in any sense weaken our desire to change it into what we believe it should be--it is necessary to begin where the world is if we are going to change it to what we think it should be. That means workin
  2. http://www.bradycampaign.org/legislation/s...php?st=ca#micro Apparently we have 15 more days here in Kali to buy a new handgun without a microstamp in it. Weak. Where will the madness end?
  3. http://www.saigastock.com/index.php?main_p...cda64bb86330145 I answered a question for once, rather than asked one. *plays 'Queen - We Are The Champions'*
  4. Good info, nitrous, thank you! I think I may just stick with my iron sights though. My first time at the range I was able to hit a man-sized target at 100 yards with factory iron, so I figure with some practice I should be in great shape. I'll save the money for a Loaded M1A. Although if the global banking system fails I may have to use the money for kindling.
  5. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=32094 I checked this thread out the second I posted this new topic. I guess that answers that question. Never mind, guys.
  6. http://www.cdnninvestments.com/ak472.html I keep talking myself out of it, but at the same time it seems like a great deal if they work. Has anyone had any experience with these particular models? Tips, warnings?
  7. Found my solution. http://www.ray-vin.com/tech/websling/webslinghelp.htm http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/...leitemid=966254 Ding. Winner, for $12 plus shipping. It may not be snazzy or historically accurate for an AK, but I am practical if nothing else. Now I just need to paint it black.
  8. Aren't we all? I do believe this is a community full of people who are fussy about their rifles. Your point is taken though, thank you. The style of sling I was looking for was M-1907, BTW. I'm still looking actively for a good price, but it seems like you get what you pay for, as usual for thing of this nature.
  9. It seems that a rifle sling (not a carrying strap) is hard to find, but it may be because I don't know where to look. http://www.turnersling.com/miva/merchant.m...tegory_Code=PTS http://www.lonestarholsters.com/rifleslings These are the kind I'm looking for; the ones that you slip your bicep and palm through to stabilize yourself. Does anybody know where I could find one for less than $30?
  10. Thanks for the advice; that was fast! I do have a bullet guide on the way actually, but until I move away from the Democratic Republic of Kalifornia it seems like a moot point to modify the gun at all.
  11. Hello Saiga Forum, I hate to have my first post be a cry for help, but I wanted to be sure about this one, even though my guess is it is not a big deal. I've only put about 200 rounds through this 7.62 rifle using Wolf Military Special. Later I discovered this...'dent', for lack of a better word. So I pose this question to the experts here: is this thing a malf waiting to happen, or should I stop worrying?
