  1. Is the only rail system that goes over the dust cover?
  2. My saiga 12 doesn't allow the bolt carrier to close all the way if you drop it back slowly, only when you do it hard. I took my gun apart and the piston extension has some wobble or play on it. When I watch it try to go back in the hole where the extension hits the gas piston it cocks and doesn't go in. It is threaded, so can it be screwed down more? Or do I need a replacement?
  3. well took my gun to the range today, fires fine, but won't cycle anything. Im going to follow the directions on this thread(http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/55377-my-saiga-12-from-start-to-finish/) and see if my gas ports are clogged up.
  4. Everything works now, except i don't have spring in the weapon. Gonna take it too the range to make sure it fire correctly.
  5. Notch the BHO's Dog-ear like I do in GlassBolt & the spring won't fall off during installation, OR while shooting; The axis of the hammer should be 1.01" Remove material from the right side of the hammer's axis to get it there. okay i finished with a safety pin I bought at home depot for the bolt hold open spring. Not sure what to think everything seems rough. The bolt doesn't move very freely, seems like everything is grabbing.(EDIT) - bolt hitting my home depot spring.(EDIT) - screw it, don't really need it.
  6. Houston, Texas. Yeah I found there old video. They say you have to cut 50/1000 to work with the manual bolt open, i guess I have the non-specific saiga 12 fire control group. Lol, I broke my spring bending it too much. Im gonna see if I can make one tomorrow, see how that goes. Anybody have a close up of there manual bolt open if they notched it or anything like that so the spring would stay put.
  7. First off I can not get this bolt hold open spring to stay in place. I get to stay in place then I move the gun a little bit and it falls out. MAD!!! Second this part on my tapco trigger set is too wide. The axis pin will not go all the way through. I tried with the original one and it works fine, guess I am going to have to grind it down. Also I bought the axis pin retaining plate for carolina shooters, and it seems like it only holds one pin in, and my trigger axis pin keeps coming lose. nvm looks like it works on the trigger axis pin but if it moved around too much l
  8. Saw one mispriced at the houston gunshow for $450, was going to buy it, but didn't. Most were going for 575-600.
  9. Thanks for the response. My friend found one at a gun show for $25, so I thought they might be plentiful since he didn't really have to pay a premium for it. No wonder I couldn't find that much information on the company, I searched for about 2 hours last night. Maybe there is a sling thats similar? If not I guess ill be going to the next gun show.
