Did you put a light on your rifle? What kind? How did you mount it? How do you activate it? Have you considered the tactical disadvantage of a light making an excellent target? Trying to decide if i should put one on or not. I can see how it would be very handy in darkness as you wouldn't have a free hand to hold a flashlight, but.....

Sorry bro!! Sometimes when i do the search, it comes back with so much garbage that it's difficult to weed through it all. There are four different areas to find information on conversions alone. I love this site, but sometimes i have a hard time finding what I'm looking for. Maybe I'm just a retard....

So I notice there are two different types of coversion fire control groups; Single hook and double hook. Are there any pros or cons to either? Is one better than the other?

OK I feel like an ass. I went back through the box of stuff that came with the rifle and what do ya know, there was the cleaning rod. So, how did you attach it to the rifle?

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum. Just bought a saiga .223 a few days ago. Anyway, i see what looks like a cleaning rod extentending underneath the barrel of some of your rifles. Is that what it is? Where did you get it? Hard to add? Mine came with a brush that doesn't seem to fit on any of my generic cleaning rods as its a female end and all my rods are female end also (he he he no pun intended). I like the idea of having the rod with the rifle.

So my local gunstore has a saiga .223 for $450. Is this rifle worth the money? What's the most you would pay for a Saiga in .223? From what i have read, people seem to be very happy with them. I'm in the market for a semi-auto in .223 for a battle rifle type set-up, but i can't find anything. Seems like the majority left wing government that's recently taken control has incited a buying craze. I'm worried that I won't be able to buy one at all in a year or two. Should i jump on this one for $450 or should i wait for the prices to come back down? Will they come back down?
