    Range time

First off, thanks everyone for all the great info on this site! I finally got to a range where I could really let the Saiga 12 go (my local one doesn't allow shotguns). It was a load of fun, it appeared to cycle bird shot 100% on the low brass setting, but when on the high brass, I did have some problems my saiga doesn't seem to like Remington slugger rounds (they sometimes won't eject fully), which I think is the round's fault, the recoil felt about half of 00 12 pellet buckshot I had staggered with it in the mag. the only other problem I faced was when I tried to load a round
  2. ok I'm officially confused,; here and on other forums and threads I've seen people saying "oh no, 2 holes" "oh no 3 holes" "oh no 4 holes" which is the "bad" one?
  3. classic arms has some 5 rounders.
  4. Hey all, I'm new guy here, but that doesn't mean I haven't been doing homework. But even though I've searched around, I still have a few questions about parts concerning the saiga 12 The Tromix DIYS trigger guard looks like a rocking alternative to putting the knife to my receiver, my only concerns are; Will it work with a standard AK grip? I've never been partial to the saw ones and The person I spoke with at Tromix said they haven't tested them with anything but the saw grips. Concern # 2 how stable is the platform once installed (it looks solid, but I thought I should ask tho
  5. I was at the expo center one, and was really surprised at how decent it was, I guess I'm too used to Eastman shows, the cheapest saiga 12 mags I saw were 70 for the 12 rounders, although I did find some pretty good deals on 12 gauge buck shot and hkg3 mags.
