  1. I am very happy with my new AR adpt. 200 rnds+ one ammo related failure. (wolf). I have been converting Bushmaster 5 rnd mags to 8 rnds. Works very well so far. I belive my unconverted gun is legal with this setup. I have run 30 rnd mil-spc mags and they work fine . If you cycle the bolt by hand too slow, it will dump the front of the round too low to feed. I have seen this repeatedy when hand cycling. You try to watch the round feed and it falls off line and jams. Rack er back an let er go. It's an AK. Brutal action. works every time.
  2. Been gone awhile, but. I have to say that a XD beats a glock any day. BUT A 1911 is still the Old School standard. Truth be told a good revolver in .357 is probably much more effective than any .45 acp.
  3. Thank you.Still lurking. I have enjoyed this site very much.
  4. I know I am new Here, but I just can't help myself. My brand new RIA 1911 ate 90+ rnds and one of the last groups was inside 3' @ 25 yrds! But on topic, My new 223 adapter works great! Ran 200 rnds through it and had only one ammo related failure. YeeeeeeHaaaa!!!

Hello all. First post, but been lurking for some time. Had to sign on to get into fight club (That Surly cracks me up).Anyway bought my .223 on impulse right after the Obama disaster, did'nt want to bring a knife to a gun fight as it were. Took the new gun to the range the first time with my buddy and his kids, got the iron sights pretty close and turned the kids loose. Hard to tell with the boys (10&12) but the rifle functioned perfect right out of the box with no failures in 100 rnds. My older brother and myself went to the range today to sight in the new 9x50 scope on the (God forbid)
  6. Hello,I know you can be anyone you want to be on the Internet. but I will tell you all in advance that I am a fudd. I bought my .223 on impulse when paying off my new home defense weapon. Since then I have been lurking around this board quite a bit. I have learned yery much about my new rifle . It appears to be a 2 MOA gun on it's first visit to the range! I have a buddy who ouns a bulgy? 7.65x39. Very fun to shoot, only 2 failure to fire issues in 1000 rounds. (ammo)?. It will not group anything like my .223 36' vs 3' ? Thank you very much for allowing me to have acess to this site. Truth be
