  1. thanks, Ive heard good things aobut CSS so I'll definitly be ordering from them. The leapers appealed to me due to the price, but if it completly sucks then ill pass on it for now.
  2. Hey all, I need a suggestion for a decent red dot sight thats cheap and will hold zero on a saiga 12. I saw the utg leapers one listed on carolina shooters supply and was leaning towards that. Any other suggestions? Has anyone had any luck with the leapers sight they list? Thanks all!
  3. Paying less on a new drum to make up the difference would be great and good buisness, and I'd be willing to buy more at the new price, but i dont see either of those happening. If it was a 50 dollar difference i wouldnt care, but thats a big drop. To some that might not be alot of mony, but to people who had to budget to buy it to begin with its alot.
  4. Mike makes an awesome product, and I understand about production costs n all. But an 140 dollar difference between what i paid and what people are paying now is a bit tough to swallow. No offece or trouble starting intended.
  5. hey all I'm new to these guns. I have a saiga 12 and am looking to mount a red dot sight to it via pic rail. I've seen these side mount setups availible for the funky looking block on the side of the gun. Is there anything else I have to buy to attatch something to it? And is there a recommended particular mount i should be looking at. Also what would you recommend for a foregrip? Will alot of the plastic models out there hold up to a 12 guage recoil? Thanks in advance
  6. whew! thanks guys. Those left over unpolished machineing marks looked like pulled threads to me at first and i was like oh god how did I manange this one. Thanks alot for your replies! I am going to order the gun fixers plug from MD though.
  7. Hey all first time i posted on here. I have a saiga 12 with folding stock and md 20 drum. I shot 40 rounds through it this weekend. When i came home to clean it i unscrewed the gas plug and there was alot of debris inside the gas plug area. I then noticed it looked like half the threads were blown off the plug....but it screws in fine and sits flush. Is this normal? How man threads are supposed to be on it? and also how many are supposed to be inside the gun whre it screws in. Pictures would be helpful as Im worried my new gun might be F'd. Thanks all in advance!
