  1. 1. The front pistol grip is just slightly loose. What (and how) do I have to take apart to tighten it? 2. If I wanted to someday change to a barrel that is rifled the full length, instead of the 12" or so rifling with the long suppressor to make it legal, what does that entail? I would have to have a smith do this, so what kind of cost are we talking about? What barrels would be good choices? Thanks
  2. BTW, as a result of this thread, I stopped by Tac47Industries shop in Houston to check out a few things. While we didn't do a deal, they had some awesome looking guns there that they had worked up. Not a paid advertisement, just a comment from an impressed observer.
  3. I'm new to this. What the heck is a BHO? Y'all are starting to scare me about getting one of these guns if they are that difficult.
  4. I'm not afraid of doing fairly simple "drop in" work on a gun (changing stocks, adding new firing pin, springs, etc.). But when I haven't done certain work on a gun, especially if I have never owned or even disassembled one of those guns, I would like someone who knows what he is doing to at least hold my hand during the process. Call me crazy, but when I pull the trigger, I want to know what is going to happen. I don't see it as a sign of weakness to admit what I DON'T know. Especially if it's something that could potentially be dangerous if done incorrectly.
  5. I'm also interested in labor costs. I want to modify the trigger group so I can add a pistol grip folding polymer stock, and I want to be able to use regular AK mags. Thanks
  6. HI-- I'm about to trade for a Saiga 7.62x39. I would like to mod it to make it more like a true AK. Anyone know of a gunsmith in or around Houston, Texas who works on these guns? Thanks.
