  1. well thanks for THAT piece of info definately. i was under the impression that this weapon was the same as say you rifle catigory. basically meaning you could go as short as 16.25 and still be legal. As far as the exploding barrel thing im not so sure. i tried it already with a ratty semi auto i found at a pawn shop and didnt have any problems. with the gas port dilema that is what the gears are for. when you screw the barrel in to its proper dimensions you just let the tension off the geared spring and it doesnt move. The tricky part would be the initial mounting of the gear assemblt so every
  2. personally i think with felt reciol as low as it is already from the design i would personally go with whatever you feel is best suited to your taste. I would take a look at chaos and their new door breech brake for something that will make people cringe, or the shark comp. brake for something a little more reserved. That is one of the reasons i own a saiga, they are customisable to really be a unique weapon for the owner. Just like people they should be fundamentally the same but dynamically different!
  3. So i've been mulling over the dilema of barrels, and ive been thinking of making a quick change format similar to the browning M2. if you cut the barrel just after the chamber mouth and thread it you should be able to then take a coupler and attach the threaded chamber to the rear of the barrel you cutafter it too was threaded. thesly making the barrel interchangeable. To add to that afix the coupling lug to the barrel after the rear of the coupler was geared. then with another piece of geared material with a washer spring dehind it you could then lock the threading together after tightening.M
  4. I' ve been looking everywhere for a company that sells barrels for the saiga 12....I can't seem to find any. Do they not sell just the barrels? and if they do where can i get a couple. i also had an idea about a quick change system. if i find some extra barrels i'll keep y'all informed on if it works to my liking or not.
