I have both, Synthetic on my 7.62x39 witch I think looks cool and the wood on my .308. I like the look of both though.

Well I'm very mechanicaly inclined. Though I have never modified a gun or rifle so this would be my first attempt. Thats why I said novice. Thanks for the link.

Great job guys on your conversions. I wish I had the talent to convert my 7.62x39 to a pistal grip and my 308. to a pistol grip.

Ok, so the link you provided to tapco is all the parts needed to add a pistal grip onto a 7.62x39 saiga. Would a novice be able to do it?
