  1. Alright well I'll be testing it tomorrow, with some low brass ammo. So we'll see how it all goes lol. Thanks for the insight.
  2. So I bought a 10 round Pro Mag I found on a site, for some crazy price like $15-$25. Anyway, it looks greats, holds ammo, and even fits in the receiver .... BUT ... it will NOT lock in place. I slammed it in, I pushed it in hard, but to no avail. I think the problem is that there is some plastic on the magazine, getting in the way, and preventing it from going a few inches further, to lock in the place I know they have a lifetime warranty ... but if just cutting away the excess plastic will fix it, I'll go for it. Will this void the warranty though? I searched the forums and didn't see any
  3. I haven't seen anything on here related to this question, so here I go. I read the manual that came with the Gun Fixer's gas plug, over and over again. But I'm still not quite sure if I have set right. I screwed it in all the way, however, on my gun it won't go past 2 when it's fully screwed in. So, after it "bottomed out" I began to unscrew it until it got all the way around to -1, then I figured if I keep unscrewing it from there, I have +1 2 AND 3 in order, one right after the other. Am I right, or did I screw it out too far? Thanks guys, Chris
  4. gaming, guning, and rockin' out.

  5. Ugh, delete that repeat post please, the forums are being weird today. And I don't see an option anywhere to delete a post. Thanks
  6. Well, all bets are on Chile, he picked an excellent range of numbers. My number: 3752

  8. I just can't visualize the mag fitting in the gun if it's double-stacked. It's going to be pretty wide isn't it? Can't wait for some pictures though, just a picture or two will help me grasp the idea more
  9. All the guns I own and I have NO IDEA what a "double-stack" mag is. I know, I know, pathetic. What are the pros and cons of them? All I can think of is a double-stack mag is like .... well .. an AR mag, where the bullets rest side by side, rather then right on top of each other, like the current Saiga-12 mags. Anyway, let me know when there will be some pictures and what the max mag cap will be. I'm ANXIOUS to find out Thanks, - Chris
  10. Well, I sent it off to CGW for some work, to get the holes drilled and all. And I bought that gunfixers gas plug, and the King Armory gas tappet. Between all of that, I should be able to fire any sort of 12 gauge round I come across. Thanks everyone for the help.
  11. Yeah I adjusted the gas plug between 1 and 2, and nothing happened. I guess getting that "improved gas plug" really wouldn't make a difference then? I posted a thread in the CGW, to see if they'll take a look at it and all. Hope they'll still take it even if I filed the bolt a bit *shh*. I guess I'll try getting some buck and slugs tomorrow at walmart, and see how they perform. And I'll let you guys know. Thanks for all the advice.
  12. Well, I know a few others are having the same problem, but I never really found or saw a solution anywhere. So I purchased Federal Bulk 7 1/2 and 8 bird shot from walmart today. Just got the 19" Saiga from a guy yesterday, brand new, never fired. I loaded it up, and it shoots it ... but won't eject any of the shells. The bolt comes back all the way, even enough to pull the hammer back, but it won't eject any shells. So I have to keep manually pulling it back, if I do that with a decent amount of force, the shell will eject. That was shooting from the hip. If I shoulder it, and keep it tig
  13. I know a place where I can get them online new, for $500, but that's just the base price, not shipping and handling included, and the transaction fee for the FFL dealer. I was asking if anyone knew of a place that sold them for any less than that, OR for the same price. Due to the fact that the place that sells them for $500 is out of stock for now, and that is why I'm looking for an alternative. But, I found a guy who has one brand new, 19" and an extra mag, for $550, who's not to far away. CLASSIC ARMS is the place I was referring to, by the way, no secret. That's my story, but thanks vb
