cool man, didnt know you weren't suppose to lube the gas system. I just use CLP

also anybody have a good trick for cleaning the little port in the gas block? Seems like a pipe cleaner might work best.

are you being sarcastic or serious? I went at the thing with a pair of pliers and couldn't get it to budge.

Brand new to fire arms, just got myself a saiga 7.62x39. After shooting today I came home and watched an AK field strip video to figure out how to clean my new saiga, but realized I can't remove the gas tube thing like a traditional AK. Does this little flip even move on the saiga or is it ornamental? If I can't remove it, how do I clean it? Can anyone educate me on this issue? thank you!
