You would want the laser down by the handle so when you have the bat in the high ready you can line it up quickly. Then you could have iron sight to help you when coming from the low ready position. Now as for the Saiga I like the idea of a laser because it suits the effective range really well. It is also stupid easy to use from just about any position and with it on the underside you can still use iron sights. The real question is which ones are decent and which ones break...
