    Just picked up one of those Gerber Survival knife for my camp bag going to be putting it to use soon I hope...only cost me $30 bucks.

      If it is the Bear Grylls version, you might want to return it, or at least don't count on it as a survival knife to save your life. It gets bad reviews on some of the knife, survival and gear forums I've been surfing. The Gerber LMF II is a good knife.

      Yeah the Bear one in fixed configuration, I already checked the pommel and it is solid, and I got to use it today for pounding some stakes and cutting some wire, seems to be a nice knife so far, but I have seen bad reviews of almost any product so I am cautious till its proven itself to me. PS I was bummed about no urine storage area...lmao
